Sugar Beach is the longest beach in Hawaii, known for its six miles of beautiful white sand that is perfect for long walks. The waters of Sugar Beach are also a favorite spot for green sea turtles and humpback whales. A large freshwater bird sanctuary called the Kealia National Wildlife Refuge borders the beach. This freshwater runoff into the ocean creates a sea environment rich with diversity.
